DESIGN BRIEF 

Representing Nature Within Built Environment.
Framing Nature is conceived with an overall form to frame the city's impressive natural surroundings with a centrally located courtyard where occupants are able to appreciate the mountainous landscape without the distraction of the immediate urbanized environment. The mountains emphasized by the form of the building.

The all-encompassing pitched hexagonal cylinder is inspired by the concept to frame the beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. A landscaped amphitheater is located at the heart of the scheme that captures the natural beauty. The building is trimmed at the appropriate locations and heights to provide entrances and views of the scenic mountains. Additionally, the opening towards the river is chamfered at an angle to allow for favorable views towards the riverfront.
